How It Works
The AllerAir AirMedic Pro 5 MG Vocarb (formerly 5000 Vocarb) Air Purifier uses a three-stage filtration process to combat VOC’s and particles. Air first passes through a pre-filter designed to capture large particles. After the bigger particles are removed, the air passes through an eighteen-pound, impregnated carbon blend specifically designed to VOC’s. The last layer is a medical-grade HEPA filter that traps 99.97% of particles down to .3 microns.

Who Needs It
The AllerAir AirMedic Pro 5 MG Vocarb is an air purifier for everyday house hold purification. With eighteen pounds of impregnated carbon it can remove noxious gases and chemicals such as Radon, Benzene and Formaldehyde (found in glues and sealants). The medical-grade HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles such as carbon dust, bacteria, mold spores and pet dander.
