How It Works

Vornado’s Purio Air Purifier uses True HEPA filtration to remove 99.97% of particles in the air as small as 0.3 microns. A permanent, washable prefilter captures larger particles and extends the life of the HEPA filter. An Activated Carbon Filter absorbs odors to help keep your nursery smelling fresh.

Additional Features

The Vornado Purio Air Purifier is all about safety and health for your baby. Not only does the filter cover lock, but the controls also lock so that babies can’t change them. An extra-wide base resists toppling and no pinch points means the air purifier is finger-friendly for kids. A six-foot-long power cable gives you flexibility while excess cord is hidden and covered within the unit.

The Purio also features recessed lighting for a soothing glow. A “sleepy time” setting can be turned on which will automatically quiet the purifier in low-light and dark settings. If your baby prefers white noise, the purifier can be turned to its medium or high settings for its natural rush of air.

Filter Changes

To replace the filters, push the Panel Unlock button to release the front panel. Pull on the center of the Permanent Pre-Filter to remove it. Then remove the Activated Carbon Filter by pulling on the outer perimeter. Use tabs on the HEPA Filter to remove it. Simply place the new filters into the air purifier and replace the front panel. No tools are required to replace the filters. Two separate indicator lights remind you when to replace the Carbon or the HEPA filters. The indicators can easily be reset by holding the reset button for 3 seconds.
