Great Product
I live in the Boston, MA area and I purchased the Danby for my partially finished basement which is always musty. It has quickly sucked the moisture out of the air. I end up having to empty the bucket twice a day. I only wish i had a sink in the basement so i could drain the water thru the hose .
It moves easily on the casters. The Bucket is simple to remove. The digital setting is easy to read. My only complaint would be is there is no red floating ball in the water level window in order that you could EASILY see were the waterlevel was and empty it BEFORE it automatically shuts off because it is full .
I have had it for about 2 weeks............ GREAT MACHINE!!! :)

i am using it to dry up fresh plaster in a newly renovated basement - and will continue to use it, periodically, in the basement, as needed. I love the look of the unit - the ad read it was the quietest unit abvl - that suprised me because i didn't think it was any quieter than a really old one i am currently using (not a danby)

So far so good
This is SOO much better than a Kenmore that I purchased and returned. Very quiet, effective, removed the smell from the basement almost immediately. Good seller, I highly recommend Airpurifiers America.

Wonderful product
Bought this product for the garage which was so damp, things would begin to mold; Tools, clothes, even my leather bags on my motorcycle.
Since i have used it, all the dampness and humidity are gone and so is the MOLD!!!

great product
I replaced a 12 year old Gold Star dehumidifier that finally gave up the ghost. It is doing a great job. It's very awkward to empty the bucket in a basement drain, but the included hose makes that a moot point.

Terrible Beginning
The unit lasted 2 days before needing to be repaired. It is in a repair shop with an estimated time to fix of 3 to 4 weeks. Not a very good start. I am totally disappointed in this product.

Works Great
It's been running since the day I received it about three weeks ago. I empty it in the morning and again at night. It is much more efficient at taking humidity down and it is more quiet than my previous dehumidifier. I hope it holds up for the long run.

Humidifier for the Helpless
Have never owned a humidifier, so knew NOTHING about how they work. This one was so easy to set up: Plug in. It seems to be doing the job even though we've had it less than a month.
