Works great, very helpful This is great, I know if my room/house get over 150 on the count (15,000 particles over .5 micron) my eyes start ichting let you know how cooking and cleaning affect your air. and those setps you are taking are helping. It let me know the $13 M3 allergen filter is working like they say it is. my IQ air reads 0 on the output and my allen 100's drop about 80% of the particals. October 17, 2009
Bigger than it looks This is the only affordable particle counter, so there is no competition. If we had international competition, it would probably knock a couple of hundred dollars off the price. But, this unit does what its supposed to. I use it with the PC interface to measure the effectiveness of my home air filters in various rooms. Its a bit bigger and clunkier than the picture would lead you to believe. It makes a small amount of fan noise while its running and the display shows the small and large particle counts along with an idiotic signal bar that has no particular usefulness. February 25, 2011
works fine The only con is that the device came with a paper monitoring chart that is different than the chart listed on the back of the actual device. December 19, 2010
Very interesting results I've had it for a week or so, and already I've discovered things that we need to do now to improve our indoor air quality and health. My only surprise was that it didn't seem to come with the necessary cable for PC downloads. May 13, 2011
