Vornado Air Purifiers Company Information

About Vornado Air Purifiers

Vornado first formed in the early 1940’s with patented technology to improve air circulation through residential fans. Because of World War II, Ralph K. Odor, the founder of Vornado, had to put his company on hold while he was enlisted in the United States Military as an aviation specialist. He continued to perfect the design of the air circulation technology; so when the war ended, Vornado restarted the production of household fans. Vornado has continued to expand its revolutionary technology by introduced other products like heaters, humidifiers, and even air purifiers. Vornado continues to be a leader in air flow technology.

Vornado requires each one of its air purifiers to be safer, quieter, more intuitive and effective. Each Vornado purifier uses HEPA filtration to capture 99.97% of airborne allergens down to .3 microns in size. The air purifiers circulate the air throughout the room which allows it to capture more dust and bad particles than other purifiers. Vornado’s PCO purifier line uses patented titanium dioxide media with UV light to not only remove particles, but also eliminate bacteria, viruses, allergens, and harmful gases. Some of Vornado’s air purifiers are even CARB certified because they meet the California Air Resources Board ozone emissions limit.

Vornado purifiers come with a 5-year limited warranty and when you buy from Air Purifiers America you will also receive a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. If you aren’t happy with your new air purifier, you can send it back with no hassle.
