I have purchased 3 Paralda air purifiers myself. My son, daughter and myself all have allergies. I bought one for my daughter to take to college and she has stayed healthier than ever before!! I purchased this unit for my living room and another for my classroom after missing a week of school due to bronchitis. I have recently diagnosed asthma and emphysema and was looking for something to keep me healthy in the midst of many sick students. Once I had experienced clean air, I immediately bought the T300 for the bedroom and the T100 for my office. Can't imagine being in a room without Alen-clean for any length of time. Great Product!

5 years and counting!
I leave it running in my bedroom 24/7 on low and it is constantly pulling dust out of the air. When I dust/vacuum, I put it on high and let it circulate the air. It grabs a lot of particulate and keeps the dust levels down in my room. I only use the UV part when I'm sick or when someone around has been sick. I don't have pets so I can't talk to that, but seeing what it pulls out of my pet-free room, it's gotta help get pet dander out. Love this thing. The only downside is the cost...but you get what you pay for.

Very quiet so good for an office.
I got this item because of the new flu filters and the fact that I work with a lot of sick folks, however, I immediately noticed my eyes, nose and throat felt better. It really helps with the paper dust in my office. I have larger filters at home and this little guy works great in my office at work.
