We are serious about the air purifiers we sell and conduct an in-house testing of all products we carry. We have outlined the following brands by our editor's ratings. 		High performance with affordability. True innovators in air purification with a multi-gas unit, UV light features, eco-friendly air purifier and a leader in home design. All units come with a lifetime warranty.
		High performance with 10 year warranty.  Filter replacement costs are higher.  Does not remove chemicals and high concentration of smoke odors.
		Above average in performance with 5 year filter (expensive) life.  Simple design and simple features.

		Average performance and should be used for mild allergy sufferers.
		Popular air cleaner sold in many stores, but performed below average in many of our tests.
		Ranked well in Consumer Reports, but emits a musty odor which is associated with harmful ozone.  We do not carry Friedrich C-90 air cleaners because of our stand against ozone producing units.
		Inadequate performance.  The unit does not remove very many particles.
		Poor performance in removing airborne particles.  Despite the commercials on TV, this unit only removed approximately 35% of the particles.
		The worst performer in all of our tests.
