Air Purifiers America conducted testing on several models of air purifiers with a specialty laser particle counter to measure the percentage of particles removed from the air. Particles as small as 0.3 microns, such as pollen, mold, dander and dust were measured with this device. The following numbers are the percentage of particles removed by the corresponding air cleaner. The higher the percentage, the better the air purifier is at removing dust, pollen, mold and pet dander.
